Professor Tran Thu Ha graduated from Kiev Conservatory in Russia in 1975 and also hold a Doctorate degree from Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow in 1978. During several years, Professor Tran Thu Ha was director of Hanoi National Conservatory of Music, nowadays the Vietnam National Academy of Music.
At present she is holding position of senior piano professor at the Academy. She trainned numerous music generations for the country. Her students won several national and international prizes and awards in Vietnam, Italy, Australia, Indonesia, Japan, Korea. She is a soloist, chamber music artist, member of Hanoi Quintet. Professor Tran Thu Ha has performed many concerts inland and abroad. She played with Hanoi Philharmonic Orchestra, Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra, European Community Orchestra. She recorded many programs with Vietnam State Radio, Vietnam Television and many CDs introducing classical works for piano. Professor Tran Thu Ha received invitations to be in the jury of several International Piano Competitions. For her contribution into Vietnamese music development and her success.
Professor Tran Thu Ha received several high awards from Vietnam government such us People’s Teacher, Idol of Labor in Renovation Area, Medal of Labor of First and Second grades, Award of Vietnamese Women. She was a Member of Viet Nam National Parliament session XI.
