Alexander Bildau, born in Mainz, Germany, began learning the piano at the age of 5.
Professor Bildau has participated in various prestigious music festivals, such as the Bodensee Music Festival, Musica Bayreuth Music Festival. He has collaborated with the Brazilian conductor Celso Antunes in the performance of Hindemith’s piano concerto “The Four Temperaments,” and was invited by the Petersburg State Chamber Philharmonic in Russia to conduct a six-concert tour at renowned venues, including the famous Greencar Hall in St. Petersburg. In 2000, he was invited to perform in a concert featuring the piano that Tchaikovsky used during his lifetime.
Since his first visit to China in 1998, Professor Bildau has held numerous solo piano concerts in cities including Jinan, Qingdao, Tianjin, Hohhot, Baotou, Guangzhou, Wenzhou, and Hong Kong. He has also been involved in piano teaching at institutions like Qufu Normal University, Xinghai Conservatory of Music, and Shaoguan University. Currently, he is a faculty member at Wenzhou University’s School of Music.
